IU has negotiated strategic licensing agreements with software vendors to make their products available at reduced prices to students, faculty, staff, and departments. These products are available through various avenues, such as IUware and on physical media. (Much of the information below applies to software for IU departments; for more about purchasing software for a department, see the next section as well.)
