Labs: Software installation requests
IUB
When software is required by a particular department, professor, or class but is not already available in the IUB STCs, the department may sponsor the software for installation on the STC computers at IUB. The requesting department is responsible for funding and supporting the departmentally sponsored software. Software must be compatible with the operating system being used in the STCs. As of fall 2008, the Windows STCs run Windows Vista Enterprise, and the Mac OS STCs run Mac OS X 10.5 (Leopard).

IUPUI
At IUPUI, instructors may request software installation in the STCs or on classroom and auditorium instructor stations. Software must be compatible with the operating system being used in the STCs; for more information, visit the IUPUI STC page and click the location in which you are interested.

Student requests
For security reasons, students generally cannot add programs to any UITS computer. If you wish to have software added to an STC computer for academic reasons, contact your instructors for sponsorship.
