Office telephone equipment

In most cases, new office telephone lines for faculty and staff at Indiana University use UniCom Enterprise Voice/Microsoft Lync. UITS will provide equipment compatible with UniCom to new customers.

Telephones in campus housing

At Indiana University Bloomington and IUPUI, when requested, one telephone line with local telephone service is provided for each residence hall room or on-campus apartment as part of your campus housing contract. You must, however, supply your own telephone.

Note:
If your campus housing residence currently does not have an active telephone line, you must contact your center desk to have the line activated (without fee). For more, see Campus housing telephone service at IUB and IUPUI.
