To hold a three-party conference call on a two-line Caller ID telephone at Indiana University Bloomington:

  1. Make or answer a call on one of the lines.
  2. Press the second-line key and make or answer a call on the second line.
  3. Once you have callers on both lines, press the Conference key.

You can speak privately with one particular caller by pressing that caller's line key. Doing this will automatically place the other line on hold. You can then re-establish the conference by pressing the Conference key.
